Professor David Farber will be presenting the 2019 Alan Martin Week Lecture

The ANU School of History is pleased to welcome Professor David Farber who is the Roy A. Roberts Distinguished Professor of Modern American History at the University of Kansas.

An elected member of the Society of American Historians, he has published many books including Chicago ’68, The Age of Great Dreams, Taken Hostage, The Rise and Fall of Modern American Conservatism, and the forthcoming Crack: Rock Cocaine, Street Capitalism, and the Decade of Greed.

Professor David Farber will be presenting the 2019 Alan Martin Week Lecture. He will be exploring “Trump’s Republic: an American History”.

The event will be held in Kambri Event Space 1.02 in the Cultural Centre on Tuesday, 14 May from 6:30pm to 8pm.
